日本語では『苺』と書きます。『植物（草）』を意味する冠の下に『母』と書きます。一つの株にたくさんの果実を実らせ子株を増やすいちご。正に子孫繁栄の象徴ではないでしょうか。たくさんの子どもに恵まれ賑やかな家庭への願いを込めて帯結びで表現しました。また、漢字は違いますが音が同じ『一期』という言葉があります。これは人が生まれてから死ぬまでの一生のことです。茶道の世界に『一期一会』という精神があります。『二度とない一生に一度の出会い』を大切に真心込めておもてなしをするという心構えです。このアートに辿り着いた皆様との出会いに感謝と喜びを込めて。

Strawberries bear many fruits on a single plant and increase the number of offspring. It is a true symbol of the prosperity of offspring. It refers to a person's entire life from birth to death. In the world of tea ceremony, there is the spirit of “一期一会(Ichigo Ichie)". This means a mindset of cherishing "once-in-a-lifetime encounters that will never happen again" and providing hospitality with sincerity and care.
